Time Warner Cable systems in New York and New Jersey will launch The Tennis Channel Nov. 19, the network said Monday.
Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey -- which currently serves more than 1.4 million subscribers -- will launch Tennis on its new "Digital Sports Tier" in Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, Brooklyn, Mt. Vernon and the mid-Hudson Counties of New York, as well as Bergen and Hudson counties in New Jersey.
The tier will also include NBA TV, three Fox Sports Digital Networks and Fuel.
Other Time Warner markets launching the network in November are Jacksonville, Miss.; Beaumont and San Antonio, Texas; Columbus, Ohio; and Raleigh-Durham, N.C.
Tennis also has November launches scheduled on Cox Communications Inc. in Lafayette, La., and Jonesboro, Ark.; RCN Corp. in Washington, D.C., and Boston; and Lexcom Communications in Greensboro, High Point and West Salem, N.C.
