Major Broadcasting Cable Network is raiding the kitchen this spring.
The network will launch Real Men Do It in the Kitchen, a 30-minute weekly series hosted by culinary expert Kofi Moyo, in April.
The show is a spinoff of the "Real Men Cook" Father's Day event that occurs annually in urban cities across the United States, which was created by Moyo. Real Men Cook will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2004.
Participants in Real Men Do It in the Kitchen will include celebrities, athletes, politicians, entertainers and clergy. Among those who have endorsed the event or exhibited their culinary skills are Magic Johnson, Tom Joyner, Jesse Jackson Sr. and MBC owner and former Major League Baseball All-Star Cecil Fielder.
