Three Moons Over ABC Family

ABC Family said Monday that it has picked up eight one-hour episodes of drama Three Moons Over Milford.

The network described the series as “a quirky drama set in a picturesque small town that reflects the world's reaction to a cosmic explosion threatening Earth’s existence.”

Three Moons Over Milford is being produced in association with Touchstone Television. It will begin production this spring, and it is being executive-produced by Holly Goldberg Sloan (The Secret Life of Girls) and Gary Rosen (Hacks), with Jon Amiel (Eyes, Entrapment, U.K. miniseries The Singing Detective) consulting.

“On the heels of Wildfire's fantastic season premiere, it's great to pick up yet another show that will make ABC Family a destination for originals of the highest quality,” president Paul Lee said in a prepared statement.
