Spanish-language cable networks HTV and Infinito will be added to Time Warner Cable’sNuestra Tele On Demand Hispanic video-on-demand service, the channels’ parent company, Claxson, said Wednesday.
Claxson described HTV as “one the most successful Latin music channels in Latin America and the United States” and Infinito as a “24-hour Spanish-language channel especially developed for audiences eager to explore the most surprising and unexplained mysteries of the world and interested in enlightening their spiritual being and lifestyle.”
HTV and Infinito are the first two services to be included in Nuestra Tele On Demand, which the MSO will launch in Los Angeles.
“We are very pleased to provide original programming from Infinito and HTV música as an added value to Time Warner Cable Latin audiences around the United States," Claxson senior vice president of marketing and sales Mariano Varela said in a prepared statement. "This agreement with Time Warner's VOD division reinforces our belief in the power of this type of programming."
