Time Warner Cable Extends Deal For Nagra's Advanced Ad Products

Time Warner Cable Media, the operator's ad sales division, as part of renewing its deal for Nagra-OpenTV's advanced advertising products has selected Nagra's latest-generation campaign management product.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The EclipsePlus/xG Billing product is designed to let ad sales teams combine data from multiple order management and traffic systems into individual invoices based on each ad's metrics and pricing and for any type of ad campaign, including for linear, on-demand, interactive, addressable, Web and mobile platforms.

The MSO picked Nagra's EclipsePlus/xG Billing system "because it supports our desire to serve our clients with a wide and varied portfolio of advertising solutions," Time Warner Cable Media senior vice president of operations Chris Faw said in a statement. "It is a tremendous opportunity to simplify the billing and reporting process for our clients by seamlessly combining multiple advertising products onto a single invoice."

The Nagra-OpenTV Eclipse line of campaign management solutions schedule more than 100 million spots per month and manage more than $2.5 billion of annual advertising revenue, according to the vendor.

Cheseaux, Switzerland-based Nagra is owned by the Kudelski Group. Nagra provides security and multiscreen video experience solutions to 120 pay TV operators worldwide.
