Time Warner Cable Uses Synchronoss For Online Orders

Philadelphia—Time Warner Cable will use Synchronoss Technologies' electronic order management system to process online orders for its triple play.

Specifically, the Synchronoss ConvergenceNow platform will support online activation and provisioning for the MSO's triple play services -- voice, high-speed Internet and video -- as well as other offerings.

ConvergenceNow controls the activation and provisioning of services after a customer places an order, communicating with different communications and entertainment services.

"Optimizing the online order and management experience of our bundled offerings is paramount to us," Steven Copertino, Time Warner Cable senior director of interactive marketing, said in a statement. “We have aggressive goals for our online channel and having a best in class player in the digital customer experience space, like Synchronoss, will be key to our success.”

Time Warner Cable had previously used Synchronoss to provide order management, provisioning and activation for the now-defunct Pivot mobile phone service the MSO offered through Sprint Nextel.

Synchronoss, based in Bridgewater, N.J., also counts Comcast, Cablevision Systems, AT&T and Verizon among its customers.
