MarketLink Indianapolis has added Time Warner Cable systems to the
advertising interconnect covering that DMA.
The addition of Time Warner to the consolidated interconnect builds on the
2001 agreement between Comcast Corp. and Insight Communications Co. Inc. to
afford regional and national advertisers the ability to reach cable households
throughout the Indianapolis DMA via a single point of entry.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
A Comcast spokesman said MarketLink Indianapolis had been reaching about 75
percent of the cable homes in that area prior to the Time Warner connection,
which now gives the interconnect almost 100 percent cable coverage.
MarketLink Indianapolis is one of 15 Comcast-owned
consolidated interconnects around the country.
