Time Warner to Launch Oxygen VOD

Oxygen said Time Warner Cable systems will launch its video-on-demand service
in September.

The women’s-targeted cable network will begin delivering VOD content to the
In Demand satellite delivery network Aug. 8, with Time Warner able to proffer
the service free-of-charge to subscribers four weeks later.

Oxygen on Demand’s platform will feature exclusive-to-VOD content on fitness
from yoga guru Steve Ross, the host of Oxygen’s Inhale; parenting from
Real Families host Dr. Michael Weiss; and sex and relationships, with
Talk Sex personality Sue Johanson.

The service will also include various installments of such original network
series as The Isaac Mizrahi Show, Girls Behaving Badly and
Debbie Travis’ Painted House.

All told, Oxygen will provide 10 hours of VOD content with 20% refreshed on a
weekly basis, according to executive vice president of affiliate sales Mary
Murano.
