Time Warner New England Goes to Gotuit

Gotuit Media Corp. said Monday that its video-on-demand offerings have topped 1 million plays at Time Warner Cable New England since January.

The MSO is currently testing “Gotuit Music On Demand” and “Gotuit Sports On Demand” with 40,000 digital-cable subscribers in Maine.

“The positive feedback we have received regarding Gotuit's products validates our belief that customers see great value in a service that allows them to have control over their viewing experience,” Time Warner Cable New England division president Keith Burkley said in a prepared statement.

Gotuit president Mark Pascarella added, “Even though Gotuit products represent just 4% of total VOD content on this system, Gotuit delivers 65% of the free-on-demand usage and more than 12% of all VOD usage, proving that personalized viewing is just what operators need to quench consumers' thirst for on-demand programming.”
