Time Warner Promotes Adler

Edward Adler has been promoted to executive vice president, corporate communications at Time Warner Inc., the company announced Monday.

Adler had been senior VP, corporate communications since 2000.

Reporting to chairman and CEO Dick Parsons, Adler will continue to oversee all aspects of the development and implementation of Time Warner's worldwide corporate-communications strategy, including media relations and internal and external communications.

In addition to serving as the company's chief spokesman, he also supervises the interaction and coordination of the communications functions of Time Warner and its operating divisions.

"During his long career with our company, Ed has gained a unique perspective and deep understanding of our businesses and their communications needs," Parsons said in a release. "As an integral participant in shaping and communicating our business strategy, he has earned the respect of his colleagues throughout Time Warner and our industry."
