Time Warner Taps Top Texas Engineer

Time Warner Cable Wednesday promoted Matt Stanek to regional vice president of engineering for its Texas region.

Formerly VP, engineering of the cable operator's Austin division, he'll remained based in the Texas capital and will report directly to executive VP of operations Wayne Knighton.

In his new role, Stanek will be responsible for five operating divisions, including Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Southwest and Waco.

“Matt brings 20 years of experience managing technical and engineering operations, which I look forward to leveraging as we continue to fully integrate the region’s infrastructure,” Knighton said in a statement.“By building a strong regional organization we are better positioned than ever to take to deliver consumers the innovative products they have come to expect from Time Warner Cable.”
