Time’s Up Names WNBA President Lisa Borders as its President and CEO

The Time’s Up advocacy group has named WNBA president Lisa Borders as its first-ever president and CEO of the organization.

Borders will lead the organization’s work to ensure equal opportunity and to ensure protection for all working women as Time’s Up seizes this unprecedented moment and transforms it into meaningful and institutionalized change across culture, companies and laws. according to the organization.

In taking the Time’s Up appointment, Borders will leave her current position as WNBA president and CEO after three years of service where she was responsible to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the league. Prior to the WNBA, Borders was vice president of global community affairs at The Coca-Cola Company and chair of the Coca-Cola Foundation.
