TLC’s Davis Is Trading Spaces

The Learning Channel’s Trading Spaces is switching to a no-host format, and the network said Monday that current host Paige Davis is leaving the hit series, AP reported.

Davis began hosting Trading Spaces in its second season in 2001, and her last new episode will air in March, according to AP.

“We believe that this new creative direction will enable the show to be more spontaneous, to focus more on the homeowners and designers and to create alternative home trades in different cities and on opposite coasts," TLC said in a prepared statement.

“Paige helped to make Trading Spaces a great success for the network, and we wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors," the Discovery Networks U.S.-owned channel added.
