Trading Spaces, The Learning Channel's Saturday-night hit series, will
launch a summer set of original Sunday-night episodes July 6.
For these segments, the program will go family, as in teams of family members
and neighbors selecting rooms of their choice for makeovers.
The shows will run at 7 p.m. EST and PST. Actor Joe Farrell will host the
episodes, with most of the TS designer regulars participating.
The Sunday-night family episodes are one of several Trading Spaces
spinoffs under way or planned for the 2003-04 season.
Boys vs. Girls, a kidvid version hosted by G4 personality Diane Mizota,
premieres May 19 on Discovery Kids, with additional runs on Discovery's NBC
Next up: a nine-episode tournament this fall with a new $1 million house at
stake, followed by a two-hour special where two couples spend $100,000 each on a
dream-room makeover, scheduled for early 2004.
