NFL Network’s coverage of the New Orleans Saints-Atlanta Falcons game scored well with pro pigskin fans, delivering Thursday Night Football’s biggest audience since Week 6 of the campaign.
The Saints’ 17-13 triumph over the Falcons averaged a 4.7 U.S. household rating, 7.5 coverage rating and 7.7 million viewers, according to Nielsen data. That made TNF the top show on cable last night.

The Nov. 21 telecast stands as the highest-rated and most-watched TNF telecast since the New York Giants-Chicago Bears recorded a 5.0 U.S. rating and 7.7 million viewers.
Through 11 games, TNF has averaged a 4.5 rating and 7.1 million viewers, up 13% and 12%, respectively from last season. With a pair of contests remaining, the 2013 slate is on pace to supplant 2012 as TNF's higest-rated and most-watched season ever.
