TNN Acquires Warner Bros. Pics

TNN: The National Network announced the acquisition Wednesday of 66
theatrical movies and movies-of-the-week from Warner Bros. Domestic Cable
Distribution. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The package of films from the 1970s through the 1990s includes pop hits like
The Big Red One, Body Heat, Mean Streets, The Hudsucker
Proxy
, Oh God!, The Postman Rings Twice, The Towering
Inferno
and Young Guns, the network said.

'This acquisition allows TNN to add to its library of popular films,
featuring popular stars and mirroring pop culture,' TNN executive vice president
and general manager Diane Robina said in a prepared statement. 'TNN viewers love
movies . we know this package includes our viewers' favorite stars in some of
their favorite films.'
