TNN: The National Network announced Thursday that it will welcome the James
Bond movie franchise with a 'Bond at His Best' week Nov. 19 through 21 and with
a tie-in online sweepstakes offering a limited-edition Ford Thunderbird as the
grand prize.
That T-bird will be one of 700 'Limited-Edition 007 Thunderbirds,' inspired
by the car driven by actress Halle Berry's character in the latest
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. Bond flick, Die Another Day (to hit theaters
Nov. 22).
Viewers of the Bond theme nights will be directed to a Web site (www.TheNewTnn.com) to enter the sweepstakes.
On those nights, From Russia with Love, The Spy Who Loved Me and
On Her Majesty's Secret Service will air on TNN.
The network also said it has created a package of promo spots to promote the
Bond franchise under the theme 'James Bond for the 21st Century.' These spots
will feature new versions of the themes from Goldfinger and Diamonds
Are Forever,for example.
