Turner Network Sales Monday announced a host of affiliate ad-sales promotions from Turner Broadcasting System Inc.’s cable networks.
TNS’ “Ready to Race” promotion is tied into Turner Network Television’s coverage of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing’s Nextel Cup Championship chase from July-November. The first 150 systems to sign up for Ready to Race will be eligible to receive their choice of six tickets to a Nextel Cup race or a NASCAR merchandising prize pack.
The “TBS Funniest Place in Primetime” campaign will highlight the network’s primetime programming lineup -- which includes Sex and the City, Everybody Loves Raymond, Friends and Seinfeld -- and the first 100 systems that sign up to participate will be eligible to receive a 20-inch Sharp Electronics Corp. “AQUOS” flat-panel LCD TV.
And affiliates can “Get Animated” with Cartoon Network. The 30-city tour is a pro-social, pro-lifestyle program designed to motivate, energize and educate kids 6-14 about healthy living choices by using the power of the network’s shows and characters.
