Turner Network Sales announced Monday that its Hispanic direct-mail and
on-air subscription-and-upgrade campaign this fall -- promoting a
second-audio-program feed for Turner Network Television's National Basketball
Association coverage -- will be themed 'Slam Dunk.'
TNS is also promoting Spanish-language SAP feeds for its National Collegiate
Athletic Association football coverage and such networks as Cartoon Network and
TNS senior vice president of marketing Coleman Breland noted that a similar
Hispanic campaign last spring was tagged 'Home Run,' to call attention to TBS'
SAP feed for its Atlanta Braves Major League Baseball coverage. That campaign
proved highly successful, he pointed out.
