TNT to Air World Hoops Championship

Turner Network Television will air four live games from the 2002 FIBA
(International Basketball Federation) World Basketball Championship for Men.

The tournament will run Aug. 29 through Sept. 8 in Indianapolis.

TNT will run games featuring the U.S men's team, headed by Milwaukee Bucks
head coach George Karl and featuring some of the National Basketball
Association's all-stars.

This will be the first time in the tournament's 50-year history that the
games will be played in the United States.
