Little man Nate Robinson's dunks played big with the Nielsens, as TNT set a viewership record with its coverage of NBA All-Star Saturday Night.

According to Nielsen Media Research data, NBA All-Star Saturday Night scored with 6.55 million viewers on Feb. 14, 26% more than the 5.21 million who tuned in the 2008 event, which had been the extravaganza's best.
The diminutive Robinson dethroned the defending Sprite Slam Dunk champion Dwight Howard. Robinson, using Howard as a springboard, leapt over the Orlando Magic center to make him the slam king for a second time.

Ratings for the All-Star Game itself, a 146-119 rout  by the West in which former teammates Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal were co-MVPS, may be available later this afternoon., according to Turner Sports executives.
