TNT Extends SAG Awards Deal


New Orleans -- Turner Network Television has inked a three-year extension to
provide coverage of the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

The deal, terms of which were not disclosed, begins with the 9th Annual
Screen Actors Guild Awards
March 9, 2003, and goes through the 2005

The event honors outstanding performances in five film categories and eight
television categories.

The network's March 10 airing of the 8th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards
delivered viewing records, as its premiere presentation earned a 3.2
household rating, up 10 percent from the 2.9 recorded with the March 11, 2001,

Delivery from the 2002 show jumped 13 percent to 2.71 million households from
2.39 million the previous year.
