Larry Hagman, Linda Gray, and Patrick Duffy have signed on for the pilot of TNT's update of the Dallas saga.
The trio -- Hagman as oil barron J.R., Gray as his wife Sue Ellen and Duffy as his younger brother Bobby Ewing, respectively -- starred in the hit CBS series that ran from 1978 to 1991.
The new version of the series features the characters of the Ewings' children, J.R.'s son John Ross and Christopher, the adopted son of Bobby and Pam Ewing, grown up and fighting for control of the family dynasty and the same woman.
In the pilot for the new Dallas, Josh Henderson (Desperate Housewives) will play John Ross. Jordana Brewster (Fast & Furious) will play Elena, who is involved in a love triangle with Christopher and John Ross.
The updated version of Dallas comes to TNT from Warner Horizon Television.
