TNT Taps Alexander To Call NASCAR Sprint Cup Series

TNT has hired NASCAR broadcaster Adam Alexander as its play-by-play man for its Sprint Cup Series telecasts.
Alexander, replacing Bill Weber, will be joined by analysts Kyle Petty and Wally Dallenbach on its six-race "Summer Series," which begins from Pocono, Pa. on June 6 and concludes with a primetime race from Chicago on July 10.
In addition to his on-air duties, Alexander will also contribute to NASCAR.com He also continues to work for Speed as a reporter for the network's racing coverage. He prevously served as a play-by-play announcer on the Motor Racing Network and as a pit reporter for its NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide series coverage. He began his career as an announcer for the Tri-State Speedway in Evansville, Ind.
Pit reporters Ralph Sheheen, Marty Snider and Matt Yocum return to TNT for all six of its races, while Lindsay Czarniak will now host the network's Countdown to Green pre-race show, joined by Larry McReynolds and Petty.
