TNT's ‘The Closer' Draws 6.1 Million Viewers


TNT kicked off The Closer's final six episodes in grand style Monday, drawing 6.1 million viewers.

The series, which ends next month after a seven-season run, also averaged 1.2 million adults 18-49 and 1.7 million adults 25-54, said network officials.

TNT's newest series, Perception, drew 5.6 million viewers in its debut Monday night and now ranks behind TNT's Dallas among the most watched new series of 2012, said TNT.

Perception, starring Eric McCormack as an eccentric neuroscience professor with paranoid schizophrenia who is recruited by the FBI to help solve complex cases, also drew 1.1 million adults 18-49.
