Tom Bracken, an industry vet most recently with Evolution Digital, has joined event cinema distributor Fathom Events as vice president of marketing.
Bracken’s move was one in a set of leadership announcements made Monday by the Denver-based Fathom Events, as it also appointed Nancy Silverstone as VP of programming, and promoted Daren Miller to VP of business affairs and strategy.
Silverstone was the principal at Millstone Partners LLC, a consulting firm she launched focused on TV and film content projects, and previously was VP of program acquisitions for Starz, and led international programming distribution initiatives at HBO and Fox Lorber.
Miller, who has been with Fathom Events since 2014, previously was with CenturyLink, Fox/Liberty Networks, Liberty Media Corp., and Tele-Communication Inc. (now part of Comcast).
In his new role, Bracken will head up Fathom’s advertising, event marketing, digital marketing, branding, sponsorships and public relations.
Bracken most recently was with Evolution Digital, a Colorado-based company focused on next-gen video products and platforms for independent, tier 2/3 cable operators. He’s also late of Comcast Technology Solutions, Technicolor and DirecTV.
Fathom Events is an event cinema distributor that works with theaters in all 100 of the top DMAs. It’s owned by AMC Entertainment, Cinemark Holdings, and Regal Entertainment Group.
