Tour de Force for BET


With its 13-campus tour winding down, sponsors supporting Black Entertainment Television’s "Black College Tour" have reached more 12,000 students with their products and services, according to network officials.

Now in its second year, the Black College Tour provides informative entertainment and networking opportunities for minority students.

In addition to presenting sponsor Procter & Gamble Co., Reebok International Ltd., Verizon Wireless, General Motors Corp.’s Pontiac, PepsiCo Inc., Southwest Airlines Co., the U.S. Air Force, Sony Electronics Corp.’s "PlayStation" and Universal/Motown Records are associate sponsors of the traveling tour.

The remaining tour stops are slated for Bethune-Cookman College and Tuskegee University Oct. 31 and Nov. 7, respectively.
