Trish Frohman

EVP of Turner Sports Sales, Turner Broadcasting System Inc.

WHY WE’RE WATCHING: Frohman was already busy on the national level, overseeing advertising sales and promotional efforts, for Turner Sports properties the National Basketball Association, NASCAR, golf, college football and Major League Baseball’s Atlanta Braves. Her gaze widened when she was promoted in November, adding Turner’s local and regional ad-sales division to her responsibilities.

HIGH ’05s: “In 2005, the Turner Sports ad sales division continued to expand on its long and successful track record for developing some of the most creative customized partnerships on behalf of our clients in the highly cluttered sports landscape. While our networks are not dedicated to sports programming around the clock, we continued to maintain a leadership position.”

PICKS IN ’06: “Today’s competitive marketplace holds numerous options for advertisers and consumers. One of our goals is to remain in the forefront of all the new technologies that are emerging and incorporate these advancements into our linear business. Advertisers are seeking out solutions to engage their targeted consumers. Part of our job is to identify and develop opportunities for clients that will have an impact across all of our entertainment brands and media platforms.”

MY TIME: “I enjoy spending time with my husband Mike and our daughters Sarah and Katie. I am actively involved in coaching my daughter’s soccer teams. Additionally, I am an avid runner and have completed four marathons. I run several miles a day, rain or shine, with a friend before coming to work.”
