Tru TV's Audience Is Hard Core For 'Pawn' Series


TruTV's Hardcore Pawn started its second season off in record Nielsen form.
The reality show, airing back-to-back episodes in the 10 p.m. hour on Dec. 28, outdelivered the series premiere on Aug. 16. The 10 p.m. installment averaged 2.03 million watchers, 2% more than its bow, according to Nielsen data. The growth was more substantial among persons 18 to 49, as the episode attracted 1.13 million of the watchers Madison Avenue covets most, a 16% gain from its start. The audience also included 638,000 guys of that age, 12% more than the premiere.
Those records lasted until the 10:30 p.m. episode, which built on its lead-in to average 2.1 million viewers, 1.14 million 18-to-49 watchers and 672,000 males of that age.
Network officials also said that last night's episodes of Hardcore Pawn registered series-best deliveries among persons 18 to 34.
