TruTV Orders Fifth Season Of Hardcore Pawn

TruTV, with the show's fourth-season bow exceeding its third-season average, has ordered a fifth campaign of Hardcore Pawn.
The network saw the fourth-season opener average 1.91 million viewers, including 816,000 persons 18 to 49 on June 21, according to Nielsen data. The reality show built with its second new episode, which notched 2.24 million viewers, including more than 1 million of the watchers Madison Avenue cherishes most.
The 2.1 million viewer average exceeded the series' third-season mark of 1.9 million, a total that included 1 million of the aforementioned demo group.
Network officials today commissioned a 13-episode, fifth season of Hardcore Pawn from Zodiak USA. The new campaign will bow later in 2011, according to network officials.
"We're very excited to celebrate another strong performance by Hardcore Pawn, which continues to resonate in a big way with our targeted viewers," said TruTV executive vice president and general manager Marc Juris in a statement.
Hardcore Pawn debuted in August 2010 sd TruTV's biggest series launch ever and quickly became one of the network's most popular shows. The series holds the record for the network's most-watched telecast ever on Jan. 11 among guys 18 to 34 and males18 to 49.  Hardcore Pawn consistently ranks among basic cable's Top 5 programs in its time period with key adult and male demos, according to TruTV executives.
