Turner, MLB.com, Fox Provide Users With Different Views Of Postseason

MLB.com, Turner Sports and Fox Sports are going to offer baseball fans some new angles on the postseason.

MLB.com, teaming with the rights-holders to baseball's playoffs games, will throw out the first pitch on a new Web and mobile video product, Postseason.TV. The 2009 postseason begins Oct. 7 with a tripleheader on TBS.

Looking to complement the TV viewing experience, Postseason.TV provides 10 stationary camera angles from every playoff game, giving users their choice of views or the opportunity to check out four cameras simultaneously. Feeds from TBS HotCorner and Fox will also supply video highlights, with real time play-by-play, stats and Twitter updates incorporated into the product. There are no media blackouts in DMAs of the participating clubs.

The complete subcription package of live postseason action -- the four Division Series, two League Championship Series and the World Series -- is a available for a one-time fee of $9.95 and is accessible through MLB.com, FoxSports.com on MSN and MLB.com/TBSHotCorner. MLB.com, Fox and Turner will share revenue.

Apple iPhone and iPod Touch owners who have already purchased the MLB.com At Bat 2009 application receive the postseason package, replete with the 10 camera angles or the quad-screen option, at no extra cost.
