TuTv Revamps Web Site

For the first time since 2004, TuTV, the joint venture
between Mexico's
Grupo Televisa and Univision Communications, will refresh its online presence
through a revamped Web site.

The site, www.tutvnetworks.com,
is expected to go April 15 and will feature rich content for affiliates,
advertisers and consumers. [Until this point, a mostly static site, TuTv.tv,
had served as a mere window to the company's five networks, redirecting
visitors to each one's individual Web site hosted by Grupo Televisa.]

The new site has been completely redesigned to include
information about TuTv's five networks (De PelÃcula, De PelÃcula Clásico,
Telehit, Ritmoson Latino and Bandamax) as well as password-protected areas for
affiliates and advertisers.

For example, an extranet for affiliates
only allows users to access information on TuTv's free video-on-demand
offering, while the advertiser extranet includes accounting and advertising guidelines
that provide information for media buys.

An exclusive sneak preview of the site given to Hispanic TV Update showed a brand new
section to play videos, where visitors are introduced right away to the
different networks available.

"The TuTv site was originally conceived as a B2B site, but
suddently, we realized we were getting over 20,000 unique visitors a month, so
we decided to make it more user-friendly," said senior vice president of sales
and marketing Ariela Nerubay.

One year in the making, TuTv's new online presence was
designed by Avatar, an interactive agency based in Argentina.
Avatar also hosts and manages the content management system for TuTv.

TuTv, which earlier this year was added on Comcast Houston's
Cable Latino package, is also close to announcing the addition of a new channel
to its programming offering.
