TV Land Puts Goldberg In Prime

TV Land has hired reality TV executive Eliot Goldberg as senior vice president development and original programming.
Most recently executive vice president at Ryan Seacrest Productions -- where he was integral to several of E!'s series -- Goldberg will oversee development and producing new shows for the services's programming block, "TV Land Prime," in this newly created position.
Reporting to executive vice president, development and original programming Keith Cox, Goldberg will be based in Century City, Calif.; he starts his new gig April 1.
Prior to joining TV Land, Goldberg served as executive vice president of programming and development at Ryan Seacrest Productions, reporting to Seacrest directly, where he created and executive-produced E!'s Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Denise Richards: It's Complicated and oversaw NBC's Momma's Boys and MTV's Bromance.
"We couldn't be more thrilled to have Eliot join our team to give TV Land an increased presence in Hollywood," said Larry Jones, president, TV Land, in a statement. "TV Land has doubled its original programming slate over the past year and with the launch of TV Land Prime, Eliot's vast experience and contacts in the Hollywood community will be a great asset and bring the network to a whole new level. The combination of his expertise in the reality genre, coupled with the channel's scripted programming agenda that Keith and his team have been pursuing, will ensure that TV Land will be ready to execute on our aggressive original programming agenda."
