TV Land Sets ‘Hot' Special

TV Land will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at its hit comedy series Hot in Cleveland with a Dec. 12 one-hour special.

The special, Behind the Hotness, will feature the sitcom's stars - Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White - discussing the funniest moments from the show's first season. The show also includes new cast interviews and never-before-aired bloopers and clips showcasing guest star appearances by Tim Conway, Joe Jonas, Huey Lewis, Susan Lucci andCarl Reiner.

The special will also feature a clip from the second-season premiere episode, scheduled to air Jan. 19, network officials said.

The announcement comes on the heels of the network's planned development of two new comedy pilots.

The two new pilots include Happily Divorced, which stars actress Fran Drescher (The Nanny) as a recent divorcee dealing with life after finding out her husband is gay, and Rip City, which follows the lives of employees at a regional beverage manufacturer after a young, Ivy League-educated female takes over as the boss.

The two shows join the previously announced comedy pilot Ex Men. Next month Tv Land will launch its second scripted series, Retired at 35, starring George Segal and Jessica Walter.
