TV One announced a host of new cable-system launches this summer.
Cox Communications Inc. has launched the African-American-targeted network in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Okla.; Wichita and Topeka, Kan.; and Pensacola, Fla., and the MSO will add TV One in August in Greenville, Rocky Mount and Tarboro, N.C.
Comcast Corp. systems that have recently added TV One include New Haven and Hartford, Conn.; Gary and Hammond, Ind.; and Las Cruces, N.M.
As for Mid-Continent Communications, the network has launched in Mitchell and Aberdeen, S.D.; and Carrington and New Rockford, N.D., and August launches will include Bismarck and Grand Forks, N.D.; and Sioux Falls and Watertown, S.D.
Time Warner Cable summer-2005 TV One launches include Houston; Charlotte, N.C.; and Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio.
TV One is now in more than 21 million households.
