TV One To Debut Late Night Series


TV One will take its shot at a late-night series Thursday (Nov. 10) with the debut of a new weekly variety show Verses and Flow.

The eight-episode series, hosted by actor/author Hill Harper, will air at 11 p.m. and will feature performances from neo-soul, Hip-Hop and R&B artists such as Angie Stone, Marsha Ambrosius and Estelle, as well as spoken world and poetic performances by various poets, according to network officials.

Thursday's double episode premiere will feature performances from Ledisi and KEM, as well as spoken word artists M'reld Green, David Banner and TV One on-air personality and Radio One chairperson Cathy Hughes.

In addition to the TV One airings, exclusive content from Verses and Flow will appear on series sponsor Lexus' Luxury Awaits portal, the network said.
