TV One Greenlights Third Season of 'R&B Divas LA'

TV One has picked up a third season of its music reality series R&B Divas LA, the network announced Wednesday.

The series, which stars R&B singers Lil’ Mo, Chanté Moore, Michel’le, Claudette Ortiz, Chrisette Michele and Leela James, will return in first quarter 2015 to the African-American targeted network. The series finished its second season as a top five original series in primetime among African American Adults 25-54 during the third quarter, according to the network.

Tv One will air an R&B Divas LA two part reunion special Oct. 1 hosted by Wendy Williams.

“The positive response to R&B Divas LA from our audience, as evidenced by the strong DVR lift and activity on social media, made greenlighting the series for a third season a no-brainer,” said D’Angela Proctor, SVP of Programming and Production for TV One. “These dynamic women have all opened their lives up to our viewers and we are happy to give them an on-going platform to share their personal and professional endeavors.”
