TV Games Network continues to pick up the distribution pace.
The horse-racing service has reached a multiyear agreement with Charter
Communications Inc., with a first launch slated for Monterey Park, Calif., later
this month. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Elsewhere, TVG will get to ride in more Cox Communications Inc. markets, as
it will debut in Gainesville and Ocala, Fla., on the MSO's digital service June
10. The network is already available to Cox customers in Baton Rouge, La., and
San Diego and Orange County, Calif.
TVG now reaches some 12 million cable and direct-broadcast satellite
homes.
