TVN Extends VOD Deals with Cable Nets


TVN Entertainment Corp. Tuesday announced extensions of video-on-demand service agreements with several cable programmers.

The Burbank, Calif.-based provider of on-demand television programming, management and delivery solutions extended deals with Discovery Networks U.S., Scripps Networks, Sundance Channel, A&E Television Networks and Bloomberg TV.

TVN’s services include encoding, asset management, site-specific metadata and multicast transport to VOD systems throughout the United States via its “ADONISS” platform.

“We are extremely pleased that these major cable networks have extended their agreements with TVN,” senior vice president of business development Jim Riley said in a prepared statement.
