TVN Inks VOD Deals With Programmer Trio


TVN Entertainment Corp.has reached multiyear agreements with Gospel Music Channel, ExpoTV and The Sportsman Channel for a wide range of video on-demand services

TVN will provide a complete ensemble of on-demand services for the three programmers, including encoding, distribution, marketing support, and asset management via the Emmy-nominated system, ADONISS 2. 

Additionally, these agreements, terms of which were not disclosed, include an expanded set of interactive services, notablyiPRI,TVN’s advanced asset management tool specifically designed to allow content owners to make real-time changes to metadata,; and TV Now, the service that converts linear programming into on-demand content within hours of the event.

 “These partners represent the kind of programmers who are adept at serving their target audiences,” TVN Entertainment executive vice president of TVN Jim Riley said in a statement. “They are leveraging VOD to build their brands in television and utilizing iPRIand TVNow to super-serve their viewers.”
