The Weather Channel Interactive launched an interactive weather map that gives Web surfers full control of local weather data down to street level, powered by Microsoft Virtual Earth.
The network said the new tool -- available with one click from all city pages on weather.com -- allows users to pan, zoom and animate to get detail of current radar and satellite imagery and offers the option of viewing road or photographic aerial maps.
