The Scotts Co. has signed an integrated advertising and content-sharing
partnership with The Weather Channel and its Web site (www.weather.com).
TWC called the deal its largest integrated initiative thus far.
Scotts -- which markets Scotts, Miracle-Gro and Ortho lawn- and garden-care
products -- will sponsor "Lawn & Garden Reports" on the network's lifestyle
segments and a co-branded, geographically targeted weather-related "Scotts Lawn
& Garden Center" section of weather.com.
Scotts' buys started Wednesday.
