Two Ad-Sales Execs Join MASN

Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, home to Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles Major League Baseball games, bolstered its ad-sales roster with the appointment of a pair of TV veterans.

MASN hired Charlie Dunn as its new vice president and general sales manager to oversee all of the regional sports network’s advertising-sales efforts. Dunn -- whose career included a 16-year stint as sales manager at ABC affiliate WPVI -- comes to MASN from CBS3 in Philadelphia, where he served as director of sales and national sales manager.

John McGuinness is the new VP for integrated sales and marketing at MASN. His resume is highlighted by entries in senior management at Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, Yankees Entertainment & Sports Network in New York and, most recently, as VP and director of sponsorship sales at NBC Sports.

In his new job, McGuinness will work with the Nationals, Orioles, the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens and the network’s NCAA partners to leverage their brands with MASN, as well as overseeing national sales efforts, which will continue to be led by ABC Regional Sports.
