Two Sports Nets Back on Time Warner

Time Warner Cable said Thursday that it will put two Fox regional sports
networks back on the air, Reuters reports.

The MSO signed a multiyear deal with Orlando, Fla.-based Sunshine Network,
which airs Orlando Magic and Miami Heat National Basketball Association games
and Tampa Bay Lightning National Hockey League games for 1.7 million cable
subscribers in the Florida area.

Time Warner also signed a deal to carry Minnesota sports channel Fox Sports
Net North, which broadcasts Minnesota Twins Major League Baseball games,
Minnesota Timberwolves NBA games and Minnesota Wild NHL games to 180,000
customers throughout Minnesota.

Terms of those deals were not disclosed.

Sunshine Network and FSN North are controlled by Fox Entertainment Group

Both networks have been absent from Time Warner Cable's lineup since their
broadcast contracts expired at the end of last year.
