The U Network will turn into The W Network until the presidential election in November.
The college network said Monday that it will air a weekly show following President George W. Bush’s re-election campaign.
The W Show -- which will debut on college campuses across the country in September -- will assign student reporters and camera crews around the country to cover Bush’s events, especially college appearances, and give eyewitness accounts.
The show will also include weekly interviews from campaign staffers.
"The W Show has no predecessor,” founder and CEO Shane Walker said in a prepared statement. “This ground-breaking show aims to give the 20 million American college students a close-up, inside look at an actual presidential campaign.”
The network -- based in Leesburg, Va., and Muncie, Ind. -- will launch in September on hundreds of campuses in the United States and United Kingdom.
