Univision's presentation of the Premios Juventud Youth Awards on July 15 gave the network the night among key demos.
The telecast, airing from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., pushed Univision to the top of the Nielsen charts among persons 18 to 49, persons 18 to 34 and persons 12 to 34, topping ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.
The Spanish-language network averaged 3 million persons 18 to 49, 1.9 million persons 18 to 34 and 2.3 million 12-to-34 watchers, according to Nielsen same-day data.
The July 15 show marked the third consecutive year that Univision ranked first among persons 18 to 34 for the entire night during its airing of Premios Juventud, and the fifth consecutive year among it led among persons 12 to 34, according to network officials.
They also pointed that the show scored its top reach, with 11.4 million watching some or all of the telecast.
