USA Network was the most watched basic cable network last week, its third consecutive summer weekly win.
The `Characters Welcome' network pulled in 2.8 million viewers to lead all basic cable networks for the week of June 13 to June 19, according to a Disney-ABC Television Group analysis of Nielsen data. Disney Channel finished second with 2.6 million viewers.
History continued its torrid summer ratings run with record setting performances from hit shows Pawn Stars, Swamp People and American Pickers to finish third with 2.37 million viewers, followed by TNT with 2.36 million viewers and Fox News with 1.7 million viewers.
ABC Family (1.4 million viewers), FX (1.4 million), TBS (1.39 million), A&E (1.37 million) and Nick AT Nite (1.2 million) rounded out the top 10.
Nickelodeon's average 2.3 million viewers comfortably topped Disney Channel for the top spot among basic cable networks on a 24-hour basis, according to Nielsen.
History programming dominated the list of top 10 most watched programs for the week led by Pawn Stars, whose two June 13 episodes averaged more than 7 million viewers to take the top two spots on the chart. A June 13 episode of American Pickers and a June 16 episode of Swamp People also finished in the top 10, according to Nielsen.
Comedy Central's reality series Tosh.O was the most watched program for the week among adults 18-34.
