USA Network's Holiday Present: Six Primetime WWE Hours


Professional wrestling fans will find a programming gift under their tree this week, courtesy of World Wrestling Entertainment and USA Network.
That tag team will present six hours of primetime grappling fare from Monday through Wednesday. Beginning Monday, Dec. 20, the network will air WWE Monday Night Raw, this time from Austin, Texas, in its regular 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. timeslot.
On Tuesday, Dec. 21, USA will unwrap WWE Smackdown live from 9 p.m.-11 p.m. from San Antonio. Rounding out the action, USA will air a super-sized WWE Tribute To The Troops special, honoring the men and women of our armed forces onDec. 22 at 8-10pm ET, which will be followed by the fifth season-finale of original series Psych, with the episode titled"Yin 3 in 2D."
The star-studded holiday event, WWE's long-standing annual Tribute To The Troops, was taped in front of more than 50,000 military personnel and their families at Fort Hood, Texas. The special features performances by Sean Combs, country music sensation Trace Adkins, king of comedy Cedric "The Entertainer," as well as Modern Family‘s Ariel Winter singing "The Star Spangled Banner." The View's Sherri Shepherd spreads holiday cheer, while Miss USA, Rima Fakih will serve as guest ring announcers, introducing matches, featuring John Cena, WWE Champion The Miz, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, The Big Show, among others.
