It turns out that Kevin Costner’s Open Range isn’t the only
Western hitting movie theaters as summer season winds down.
USA Network is running a 30-second commercial for Peacemakers to build
awareness for the new Tom Berenger series -- about forensics science in the
1880s West -- among the summer’s action-movie crowd.
New York-based Edgeworx did the postproduction so the spot could be seen on the
big screen in high-def, 35-millimeter and digital forms.
Posters featuring Berenger are also being displayed in Loews Cineplex theaters, where USA isn’t the only cable programmer fighting for moviegoers’
That theater chain, for instance, is also giving out brochures noting that
Food Network’s Unwrapped is a sponsor of the “Summer of Sequels
Sweepstakes,” while Comedy Central is a sponsor of the “Movies in Motion Tour
