USA Network will once again take aim at Sunday nights in the summer.
The “characters” network, which is setting the medium’s ratings paces, will pair Law & Order: Criminal Intent with new series In Plain Sight on Sunday nights, beginning June 8.
USA, which had previously packaged long-running, but now-cancelled series Dead Zone and The 4400 on Sundays, will run the second half of L&O: CI’s seventh season at 9 p.m., In Plain Sight, which stars Mary McCormack as Mary Shannon, a U.S. marshal who relocates innocents through the witness protection, will follow at 10 p.m. USA had originally announced the show would debut on April 24.
Both series will have premiere a dozen installments during the warm weather months.
L&O: CI, completed the first half of its seventh campaign, a 10-episode run on USA, in December. In a case of reverse repurposing, those installments then began airing on NBC, in January.
